If you’ve been feeling creatively blocked or you’ve struggled to connect with your divine feminine energy, this cacao ceremony will support you to heal, deepen your connection with your sacral chakra + find new ways to embody your innate feminine expression.

CACAO

Sitting in ceremony with Cacao is a ritual traditionally practiced by the Native Mesoamerican cultures. Cacao translates to 'heart blood' - it's a natural heart-opener which connects us to our sacral chakra, the seat of creativity - holding us as we birth art from the depths of ourselves. 

The spirit of cacao facilitates deep healing and transformation, particularly concerning our relationships with ourselves + others.

Ceremonial cacao, the purest form of cacao, is high in antioxidants as well as iron, magnesium and B-complex vitamins. It has more calcium than cow's milk and contains theobromine, a mild stimulant which expands our blood vessels, instead of constricting them like caffeine. In addition to this it is the only thing on Earth which contains the bliss molecule anandamide, which makes us feel joyful and at ease.

CREATE

Every month we create something new, from spoken word to clay trinket dishes. This month it'll be dreamcatchers - no previous experience required.

What to wear + bring

Wear comfortable clothes, bring water and any beads/feathers/items you’d like to incorporate. Please don’t plan anything straight after the ceremony as we may run over slightly.

About Rehmat

Rehmat is an award winning multi disciplinary artist turned trauma alchemist. She studied a degree in fine art photography + has performed spoken word on the BBC, had film and photographic works exhibited at the Southbank Centre and BFI London, + spoken at events such as The Photography Show.

She holds cacao ceremonies in the authentic Mayan tradition, infusing the healing power of creative expression into each ceremony.

• About cacao: Please note that cacao contains theobromine which, as a stimulant, can have a similar effect to caffeine. If you are caffeine sensitive, please let us know and we can provide a smaller dose or an alternative drink.  We would advise  avoid ingesting cacao if you have a heart condition, are pregnant, breastfeeding or you take any heart medication or anti-depressants,  as they can react with the cacao. The safety and comfort of our guests is our top priority and we can always provide an alternative option to cacao at any ceremony.
