We can think of the astrological system, with its planets and zodiac signs, as a division of the Cosmos into parts, different frequencies of the whole. All of us carry these frequencies within us, but in different specific configurations, making each one of us unique.

These planets and zodiac signs can be understood and experienced as cosmic energies, or streams of consciousness. With different techniques of meditation, focusing on the body, on visualisation, or on sound, we can tap into these cosmic frequencies, align ourselves with them, and discover how we experience each one of them, in our own unique way.

On this Spring session we will explore the skies, and what happens in the natural cycles, as we reach the Spring Equinox, when the Sun moves into the Aries sign of the Zodiac, and the vegetation begins to visibly grow again, after the long Winter. We will also explore how these cycles manifest in our lives.

These meditations, inspired by astrological correspondences and different Western and Eastern esoteric traditions, are a way to discover more about ourselves, and our multiple layers of body, personality, thought and emotions (the heart-mind). 

Astrology as a language is very useful to provide different perspectives and narratives about ourselves, and these meditations aim to deepen the awareness of our patterns of behaviour, and our identification with them. It can enable us to, at some point, go beyond these identifications, into what may be called Divine Consciousness, Spirit, Essence-nature, essentially the Inexpressible.

There will be light-hearted discussions and sharing between practices, these sessions are as much about having fun as they are about going deeper into ourselves and the Cosmos.

No astrology knowledge or meditation experience required.

About Andre:

Andre has been a professional astrologer for 15 years and holds a certificate in Medieval Astrology with the Robert Zoller’s Academy of Predictive Astrology.  He has many years' experience of astrology classes with different teachers, covering different astrological traditions, including Jungian Psychological Astrology. 

Andre also has a  Masters Degree in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology (University of Wales Trinity Saint David). 

Andre has been a meditation practitioner for over 25 years (still not enlightened, but with a clear enough mind, sometimes!) and has been a facilitator of public and private guided meditations and ceremonies for over 15 years.
