Connecting With Spring Through Crafting A Brigid Cross & Receiving Intuitive Messages

As we prepare for Imbolc, we invite you to connect to Spring and the energy of new beginnings, through this creative workshop where you will craft your own Brigid Cross.  Enjoy this fun, 40 minute workshop with Justine Nagaur, healer and spiritual life coach.

We will do this through crafting a Brigid Cross, using Mother Nature's gift and mindfully connecting with the Goddess Brigid in her maiden aspect to give us intuitive messages through oracle cards.  

The Brigid Cross is a cross, often crafted from straw that symbolises the beginning of Spring and is traditionally handmade and hung in one's home for protection.

Why craft and make a Brigid Cross?

• Imbolc celebrates the end of Winter and the beginning of Spring and occurs half-way between the Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox, it is a glorious time to celebrate the start of new beginnings.
• Goddess Brigid is one of the most powerful Celtic Goddesses and is celebrated in her maiden form usually at this time of year in line with Spring and new beginnings, when we connect with her we can align ourselves with that energy and bring in starting points of wonderful desires and wishes into our lives.
• The Goddess Brigid was celebrated at Imbolc by burning lamps and lighting fires in tribute to her and as such the Brigid cross is a symbol of an ancient fire wheel symbol.
• Fire has been long known as a protector from hunger and the bringer of transformation, connecting with the returning strength of the sun and with this emerging life.
• The Brigid cross is hung in the house, usually over the hearth or main door to create protection for the year ahead.
