Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere, when the sun is at the peak of its power. We'll mark this session with an energising yoga flow worshipping the sun. After that, we'll have some time for introspection with some journaling questions to reflect on this time of year. We'll seal it all in with a guided yoga nidra. Yoga nidra is 'yogic sleep' and is a deep state of meditation where the body finds deep rest, similar to that accessed during a sound meditation.

About Lydia:

Lydia Martin is a London-based yoga, breath and meditation teacher.

Her focus is around combining movement and breath with the seasons to create a grounding connection with the wheel of the year. Lydia teaches vinyasa, yin and mandala yoga across North and East London.
