About the event
A guided meditation journey through time, to experience how, at different points in the history of the British Isles, the time of the Summer Solstice was celebrated.
Starting at the time where Celtic tribes and their Druids lived freely in Britain, going through the period when the Scandinavian Danes ruled half of England, and then experiencing the countryside Midsummer celebrations during the reign of Elizabeth I, when Shakespeare was being inspired to write his masterpieces.
Before the journey itself, Andre will talk about different aspects of the life and spirituality of each of these periods, and how they can teach us something relevant for today.
